Home and Grounds
Willowdale Residential Home is registered as a 26 bed residential home, offering long-term residential care, respite, daycare and short-term stays. We care for the elderly on a residential basis, and for people with milder forms of dementia.
The range of accommodation consists of spacious single and companion rooms. All rooms also have an emergency carer call system, and are decorated tastefully. There are several communal areas, including two lounges and a dining room, a summer gazebo on the patio, and easy access to landscaped gardens. Residents are welcome to enjoy afternoon tea within the gardens. We have abundant wildlife that visits throughout the year.
The communal lounges host a variety of activities, such as reminiscence therapy, poetry, pet therapy and musical therapy.
Willowdale Residential Homes Ltd is registered with CSSIW to provide care services. Please visit www.CSSIW.wales.gov.uk.
“ The standard of care is excellent. My sister is extremely well looked after and there is a very homely atmosphere whenever I visit. I have seen a positive change in my sister she is now happy content and settled.
The manager is excellent very professional and keeps me updated on my sister's health and wellbeing.
The carers are all kind and friendly. The meals are all cooked in the home's kitchen with plenty of variety and of a very high standard. Thank you all for taking care of my sister. ” ~ Margaret P (Sister of Resident), on Thursday 30 August 2018.
