About Redmount

Redmount Residential Home is a splendid villa-style residence situated in the picturesque village of Buckfastleigh, well within the heart of the South West Devon countryside. It occupies a particularly beautiful setting, half a mile from the famous Buckfastleigh Abbey.

Our home is registered with the Care Quality Commission and Devon County Council as a 36 bed residential care home, offering long-term care, respite, day-care and short term stays to the elderly and those living with milder forms of dementia.

Our aim is to provide a warm, happy and secure environment, within which the privacy and independence of our residents is respected.

Visiting

Family members and friends are welcome to visit as and when they wish. Drinks and snacks are always available, and we are happy to provide meals for visitors by prior arrangement.

Home and Grounds

This splendid period residence occupies a particularly beautiful setting on the edge of the village of Buckfastleigh. Nestled within its own delightful, well-kept and secluded grounds, Redmount Residential Home is bordered by beautiful, unspoiled wooded countryside.

There are several well-appointed lounge areas, one of which is a conservatory with far reaching views. There is also a dining room, and specially adapted bathrooms for your convenience. An outside decking area provides residents with stunning views and the opportunity to enjoy the sunshine and fresh country air, as well as abundant local wildlife.
