The aim of the home is to provide a warm, happy and secure environment, within which the privacy and independence of our residents is respected and promoted at all times. We take great pride in introducing you to Willowdale, where our highly skilled team members are in tune with the daily needs of each resident.
Willowdale is situated on the crest of a hill, in a quiet, well-established village called Buckley, near Mold in Flintshire. Our beautiful home is surrounded by glorious countryside.
Willowdale is registered as a 28 bed residential home, offering long-term residential care, respite, daycare and short-term stays. The home is registered to care for people on a residential basis, as well as for people with milder forms of dementia.
The range of accommodation consists of 26 single spacious and 2 companion / double rooms. All rooms also have an emergency carer call system.
There are several communal areas, including two lounges and a dining room, a summer gazebo on the patio, and easy access to landscaped gardens. Residents are welcome to enjoy afternoon tea within the gardens.
The communal lounges host a variety of activities, such as reminiscence therapy, poetry, pet therapy and musical therapy.
Family members and friends are welcome to visit as and when they wish. Drinks and snacks are always available and we are happy to provide meals for visitors by prior arrangement.
